Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our branch members hail from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Sweden and the USA The venue for our meetings is the Galway Bridge Centre St Mary's Road Galway H91 C2C3 from 10am - 12.30 Our meetings feature guest speakers, a show and tell of members' recent work and visiting shops with patchwork and quilting supplies.....and a welcoming cuppa on arrival. Happy New Year to everyone.We are looking forward to plenty of sewing fun in the months ahead. And if you'd like to join us the next meeting of the Western Branch will take place on: Saturday February 14th from 10am - 12.30pm in the Galway Bridge Centre. H91 C2C3. Our speaker will be Artist Bernie Dignam, https://www.berniedignamartist.ie/ who will give a talk on how she uses colour theory in her work. In the afternoon, subject to demand, Bernie will give a felting workshop. Mary McKeown's Fox, shown at our January Meeting.
