Our meetings take place in Galway city and currently our branch members hail from Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Mayo, Westmeath, Sligo, Sweden and the USA The venue for our meetings is the Galway Bridge Centre St Mary's Road Galway H91 C2C3 from 10am - 12.30 Our meetings feature guest speakers, a show and tell of members' recent work and visiting shops with patchwork and quilting supplies.....and a welcoming cuppa on arrival. Happy New Year to everyone.We are looking forward to plenty of sewing fun in the months ahead. And if you'd like to join us the next meeting of the Western Branch will take place on: Saturday January 10th from 10am - 12.30pm in the Galway Bridge Centre. H91 C2C3. Our speaker will be Western Branch member Shanna Corrigan who will outline her many adventures in messing around with paint and dye, fabrics and stitch. In the afternoon members who have booked their place, will have an opportunity to try out the various techniques used by Shanna as shown in her work below.

Members are asked to bring their pieces for our Winter Exhibition in the Hall of the Red Earl, to the meeting. The Exhibition will be open from January 13th 2026 to February 6th 2026.nMonday to Friday 9.30 to 4.30pm.
